Hello West Indies!!!!!!! The 2010 world cup is about to start and the teams are going to be ready to smash those balls out
into the beaches of the hot Caribbean. The players have used IPL as their warm-up games and are all set to for the big
tournament. The 27 matches in 2 weeks time are going to be interesting with the introduction of new teams like Afghanistan.
India’s group (3) is fairly easy and their matches are against the debut team Afghanistan and the Proteas who didn’t have a
successful series in the Indian soil few months back. Group 1 seems to be challenging with Pakistan and Australia being the
favorable teams to enter the next round. Group 2 looks to be interesting with all the 3 teams having a chance to enter the
super 8 round. It comprises of Zimbabwe, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. Group 4 would mostly be in favor of West Indies and
England but Ireland can try their luck by upsetting one of the 2 teams.
My favorite teams of this year’s world cup would be India, South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and West Indies.
India’s domestic performance has helped them select fresh and new talent which could prove to be dangerous to the
opposition.The mighty blows from yusuf pathan, yuvi and MSD are worth watching a hundred times!!!!!!!
South Africa‘s Jacques Kallis is in great form opening for RCB in the IPL and would look to set a huge total to scare the
opponents. Dale Steyn super fast bowling too could rattle the teams.
New Zealand has many fresh players and also experienced players like McCullum and Daniel Vettori. Ross Taylor is also in good
form after their series against Australia.
Sri Lanka has the great speedster Lasith Malinga and the carom ball Mendis who can change things around during the match.I
would also love to see Dilshan continue hid D scoops!!!!!!
And the last team is West Indies who have the majestic Keiron Pollard and Chris Gayle who can use the home crowd to make a
huge uproar against the other teams.Bravo and edwards are in good form too.
